Description
Psalmopoeus victori (often victorii) is a showy, arboreal bird native to Mexico, described in 2014. It is characterized by its unique, contrasting coloration and lack of scabbing hairs on its abdomen.

Life Style: Arboreal (requires a tall terrarium with climbing features).Size: Grows to about 5.5-6 cm in body length (dc), and reaches a leg span of about 12-14 cm.
Temperament: Considered a fast, rather shy bird. Nevertheless, it is sometimes described as an interesting species even for intermediate breeders.
Venom: Weak venom strength.AppearanceThe spider is distinguished by its spectacular coloration: it has a greenish carapace and deep black legs.
A major advantage in breeding is the absence of scalding hairs, which minimizes the risk of skin irritation when handling.
Terrarium conditionsTemperature: Day: 25-28°C, Night: 20-22°C.Humidity: Keep at 70-75%.
Decor: It is necessary to have a tall terrarium (e.g., 20x20x30 cm for an adult) in which pieces of bark, branches or artificial plants are placed to allow the spider to build a nest.
