Monocentropus balfouri 4.5DC female

Monocentropus balfouri-a species endemic to only one island in the entire world-Sokotra (Yemen). Recommended for advanced breeders, this bird is free of scalding hairs, has strong venom and is ideal for group breeding. There is a difference in the coloration of females and males - females have a blue tint to their carapace before moulting, while males have a purple tint.
