Description
Poecilotheria vittata - is an extremely showy bird, valued by breeders for its original appearance and fascinating behavior. This species inhabits tropical evergreen dry forests in the southeastern part of Sri Lanka, from sea level to an altitude of about 100 meters above sea level. Females reach a body length of 6 to 7 cm. It is distinguished by a distinctive pattern - a mask on the carapace and tiger stripes on the abdomen which makes it one of the most decorative species
in terraristics.
