Ornithoctoninae sp. Hai Bia
Description
Ornithoctoninae sp. Hai Bia is a species of tarantula native to the humid forests of Vietnam that has not yet been scientifically described. It is a representative of the Asian Old World tarantulas, prized for its secretive lifestyle and distinctive olive-brown coloration with a delicate pattern on the abdomen.
It is a subterranean species that spends most of its time in a deep burrow lined with spiderwebs. It is characterized by very rapid growth, a hearty appetite, and lightning-fast reactions to stimuli. It lacks stinging hairs, so when threatened, it relies on its speed and potent venom, which is why it is recommended exclusively for experienced keepers.
